Red Fractal is a real time fractal explorer. Immerse yourself in this beautiful mathematical world and zoom in to discorver mind-blowing shapes. Red Fractal offers high precision and the ability to choose between fractals and colouring options while being as user-friendly as possible. New fractals and colouring options are always added. 

Used the app and accidentally found your new desktop wallpaper? Or a perfect thumbnail for a video? Red Fractal now allows you to take highly detailed snapshots with a single button press!

Controls:

Please note:

  • The camera moves and zooms slower in darker regions, because they take longer to calculate.
  • Sometimes the controls may feel unresponsive. This is the time when the application attempts to render a finer picture.
  • The application does not support ultra-wide screen displays and will crash immediately with an error message.
  • The application gets targeted by antimalware. Please be assured that there is no malware in the application.

WARNING:

The software should not be used by people with epilepsy or similar conditions. The software contains flashy images that could create discomfort and dizziness.

Install instructions

After downloading the correct file for your os, you need to unzip it. Place the unzipped file anywhere you like on your pc. The executable is located inside the bin folder. You can double click it to run it or create a desktop shortcut for easy access. Make sure you read the README.txt file.

PLEASE NOTE: These are only for x64.
